Pt. 6 HBO Succession S.2 Ep. 5-6: Roys & Pierces Meet, Symposium in the Mountains, Clouds Lifting

In this episode I break down what I loved about episode 5 of Succession Season 2 where the Roys visit the Pierce family of Massachusetts to discuss a potential acquisitions.

This episode starts or continues a number of storylines and is heavy on good dialogue.

Then, in episode 6 they head to the mountains (filmed in the Adirondacks) to attend a symposium at the made up Argestes lodge.

Argestes is a Greek word referencing a wind that clears clouds.

Nan Pierce ultimately has her deal fog lift after the Roys are hit with the beginnings of bad #metoo allegations.

Hayden Kopser is a business owner and novelist whose debut novella ‘Masha’ was released in June of 2021.
